THOUGHTS AND BEST BITS
If i had to pick probably the starting scene were he admits to being older and gets the groups attention and gets them all intrigued.

Classic film proper movie making here its pure and simple story telling and acting no fancy tricks no action no cut away scenes no flash backs to prove things just a location some actors and a story. A great watch for real movie fans sure its not perfect or got any big A list celebs but its got a cast and story that is very fun to sit and watch.

Story wise well you must have picked up on the theme by now. But it starts with our leading man packing up to leave his small home a very cool log cabin and then adding to the mix is his friends from a college or univeristy ? not sure but they are all show up to give a fairwell and then he hits them with a possible past and truth that he may have been around for more than a few years. The movie is very very clever we have our cast members Todd help and support the story by siding with John and then other characters fighting back and trying to disprove the story. And all the while is done in a very clever style around a fire place in true story telling form like when kids would gather round and listen to ghost stories told to them by parants and grandparants for generations only adding to the enjoyment of the story and movie.

Cast wise you may or may not spot the faces some are under rated and in these circumstances like this do shine. We have of course Tony im the Candyman Todd then our leading man David whos been in more than a few things over the years. As well as John Billingsley yes the doctor from ENTERPRISE. and then Ellen Crawford who was the nurse from ER who plays our relcutant bible basher. Then Willian Katt hes the guy from HOUSE(1986). And then Richard Riehle who plays a strange but small part in the movie only to add more weight to it by the end. And last but not least the cutie Alexis Thorpe who i spent most of the movie trying to figure out in the back of my head what i seen her in HOUSE MD lol.

My only small gripe with the movie other than its low budget and that i forgive easliy is that its not a little slower on the pace of the movie i would have loved this to be ten to twenty minutes longer but i get the feeling this was maybe filmed over a week at the same location but even then i dont care that much for a proper movie fan its a fun watch.
