THOUGHTS AND BEST BITS
I do have a few from this movie. Including an early fight sequence when Thor walks up to some huge rock beast and just says "hello". In a later sequence he hangs muyelner (his hammer) on a coat rack lol. Later on Thor randomly asks when inside a cave "why are there so many shoes in here".

Ok i was a big fan of Thor and Chris playing him so i was hoping this film wasnt gonna be a load of shit. And im happy to tell you it aint.

So we kick off with the same style as the last movie and have old Hopkins tell us a story. We then cut to Loki back in Asgard. Im guessing this is now directly after THE AVENGERS(2012). So we have loki in jail and shortly after Jane finds some kind of ancient power and then Thor takes a trip to earth to save her.

The films a much better watch than the first film Its got more action more locations and characters but heres my problems with it. Yes its better in many ways improved on the original story and characters but its like so many new films these days well directed but little or no action. Yes it cant be all action but like the first movie it has almost no actual fights its more stunts and sequences. It looks great on screen but nothing is really happening.... The movie starts with a sort of LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING(2001) we have an ancient power found and they bury it so not to be found ever again while the last of the enemy fleas the scene. Mean while the nine realms are ment to be at war since the last movie so Thor should be going around fighting armies and gaining control again but instead we have one small battle. And i mean fucking small he shows up and does a fucking TROY(2004) takes out one rock monster then thats it he returns home to Odin and reports its all better now. What the fuck ?. Then we have Erik Selvig and no explanation as to why hes fucking gone mad ? no one else did from THE AVENGERS(2012). I thought maybe its possibly the reason Jane is in England looking for him maybe hes unlocked something thats fucked with his mind again but no hes just mad ?. Now on top of the random madness Jane randomly walks into a wall in what seems to be a poor edit in the movie and she then just appears at the very place the ancient power has been left lol like hmm that was easy then of course Thor jumps down to earth to find her and it all kicks off. But again it has great big holes in the story the dark elves can sense the ancient power and come after it when its found by Jane but if they can sense it why didnt they sense it when it was in some cave ?.
If  i could add or change anything it would be more action in the start and build up. And Jaimie Alexander... the Lady Sif needed more screen time and more story with her and Thor and a bit more clarity in some areas. And towards the end i kinda got the feeling they didnt want it to last more than ten minutes on earth as it would cause S.h.i.e.l.d. to show up or any of the other Avengers. And possibly a bit more of the old school Asgardian speech from Thor.

Ok apart from random madness in the story the cast was again great. i have no real complaints about them at all.

All in it was a good watch even with these smaller faults. its got a lot more humor and a few cameos to watch out for as well as leaving room for a possible sequel or Avengers sequel ?. Its also got a much more modern feel to the directing and style of the movie but watch out for more than a few Star wars looking moments in and around Asgard.  But go see it now and tell them i sent you ?.
