Movie review - Thor

THOR

BASIC PLOT
Thor (Chris hemsworth) is cast out of Asgard to live amongst humans on Earth.

CAST
Chris Hemsworth as Thor
Natalie Portman as Jane Foster
Anthony Hopkins as Odin
Tom Hiddleston as Loki
Kat Dennings as Darcy

FACT
Hemsworth put on so much weight by the time he arrived on set he was to big for some parts of his costume. During some of the initial fight scenes the blood flow to his hands and arms was being cut of as a result the costumes then needed to be altered to suit his extra size.

THOUGHTS AND BEST BITS
A few fun scenes spring to mind like when Thors in the coffee shop and gulps down his drink and smashes the cup shouting "this drink i like it... another"

So we have like a double start to the movie one with Jane to kick our movie off and the other with Hopkins telling us of the frost giants and showing us Asgard. The story is pretty solid and easy to follow and actually packs quite a good moral under tone.

But like to many films these days it does lack a good bit of action and action from our hero. He mostly wanders around a lot. and the main action sequence we wait nearly two hours for was over in a heart beat and in fact splits into two small separate fights. A good watch sure but needed more bite to its bark. The dialogue was great throughout the film with Thor sounding like some old school knight and the rest of the cast set in a real world it was a good blend.

Acting wise its awesome. We have the very sexy Kat Dennings with her huge blowjob lips. We also have the very stunning Nat portman as Jane. Then we have the brilliant Hopkins as Odin father but the star of the film is definitely the young Chris Hemsworth as Thor he was just fantastic. As the main star he is really left to carry the film its all on his shoulders but what a job he does. Hes likable and you do route for him all the way through.

Its a must watch for comic book fans. And Chris is definitely a new rising star to watch out for.
